Let the fabric lead.
Begin with the scraps you already have. Group similar weights, prewash when appropriate, and check the grain. Rotating a digital piece is easy; rotating real fabric can change its stretch and the direction of a print.
A puzzle for your hands. A second life for your fabric.
Turn the pieces you have into something worth keeping.
A half-finished quilt is waiting. Pick a scrap to make it yours.
One date. One solvable scrap puzzle. The same starting layout for every visitor, based on UTC.
Fill every square.
Use every little scrap.
Add a rectangular scrap in grid cells. Your layout stays on this device.
Sew mode estimates finished dimensions and rectangular blank sizes. Guides are schematic, not full-size cutting templates. Irregular pieces may require Y-seams or subdivision.
Three starting palettes. Choose one to recolor your current quilt.

A finished 2-inch square needs a 2½-inch cut square when using a ¼-inch seam on each edge. The board shows finished units. Use the seam allowance controls for a rectangular blank estimate, then test your seam on spare fabric.
A puzzle that fits is not automatically easy to sew. Start with squares and straight rows; press seams consistently. Concave shapes can need partial seams or Y-seams. Split complex shapes into simpler units before cutting.
Select a tray piece, then click or tap a board cell. Rotate or flip before placing. Select a placed piece to move it. You can also use the arrow buttons, R to rotate, Enter to place, and Delete to return it to the tray. A dashed outline shows the candidate position; red means it overlaps or falls outside the board.
No. Scrapcade is a layout and learning tool. SVG exports show the arrangement and dimensions, but are not calibrated print templates. Seam guides are schematic. Check grain, shrinkage, joining order and seam allowance with a test block before cutting your fabric.
Saved quilts use browser local storage on this device, shared between the English and Korean pages. They are not uploaded or synced. Clearing browser data can remove them, so export important layouts as SVG files.
It is the number of occupied board cells divided by the total board cells. It does not measure offcut waste, account for fabric grain or prove that fabric was saved. Puzzle points are ten per covered cell.
